About Anne
Anne Digby is dedicated to improving the health and fertility of women and couples, not only in Australia but worldwide. She has been providing treatment and advice to couples with fertility issues since the early 1990s and has thousands of success stories. Many beautiful babies have been born as a result of Anne's herbal and nutritional treatments.
Anne Digby is a qualified naturopath and herbalist, who has specialised in all aspects of Women's Health since 1994. She is also a qualified midwife and her focus is on supporting women throughout pregnancy, childbirth and early parenting in an wholistic manner.
Anne has been associated with the IVF program since 1983. In the late 1980s and early 90s, she worked for 6 years with Professor Carl Wood (the "Grandfather" of IVF) and during that time studied naturopathy. Her focus has always been on Women's Health and fertility.
Anne gained a Post Graduate qualification in Western Herbal Medicine in the late 1990s at Victoria University and also undertook studies in Bachelor of Human Life Science at Curtin University. In 2005, Anne studied a Bachelor of Midwifery at Australian Catholic University and is now practicing as a registered midwife. She is currently undertaking a Masters in International Public Health at Monash University.
Endometriosis Care Centre of Australia (ECCA)
In 1996 the Endometriosis Care Centre of Australia (ECCA) was established by Professor Carl Wood, Associate Professor Peter Maher and Dr Jim Tsaltas. This is a centre to provide wholistic medical, surgical and allied health care for women with endometriosis. Anne has been the consultant naturopath to ECCA since its inception.
She has contributed many articles to IVF Friends (Monash IVF Support Group Newsletter) and has been a guest speaker at many seminars on Endometriosis at Mercy Hospital for Women in Melbourne, Infertility at Melbourne IVF and Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) at Royal Women's Hospital in Melbourne for the PCOS Support Group. Anne is a full member of Australian Naturopathic Practitioners Association (ANPA) and Australian College of Midwives Inc. She is registered with the Nurses Board of Victoria to practice as a midwife and has provider numbers with all major private health insurance funds for naturopathy.
